| JULIE SCHARM Singer/ Songwriter/ Guitar Julie Scharm has been creating her own style in folk music for over eight years now. She grew up in Northbrook, IL, a suburb of Chicago, and moved to Madison in 1994. Almost nine years ago, she started playing the guitar and found that it provided her with a vehicle for songwriting. She has been writing songs ever since. She is now joined by her backing band, Whiskey Sunday, and is increasingly devoting more of her time to her music.
